AI PEEPS BE HEARD - DEADLINE MAR 15
White House Policy - First of its Kind in History, For AI History
Do you work in AI or do you study AI or do you care about AI?
THE WHITE HOUSE WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU
In a historical first, for historical posterity and the trajectory of Artificial Intelligence in the world, the WHite House has put out a RFI (Request For Information) from citizens and interested parties.
You can bet AI Counsel has already begun his draft.
In our dynamic age, where do much is in flux, and so much BRAND NEW policy being written, the USGov wants to hear from people. Speak now or hold your peace. Don’t say nobody told you, I did.
For submissions and public comment, here is the LINK
“On behalf of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), the NITRD NCO requests input from all interested parties on the Development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Plan (“Plan”). This Plan, as directed by a Presidential Executive Order on January 23, 2025, will define the priority policy actions needed to sustain and enhance America's AI dominance, and to ensure that unnecessarily burdensome requirements do not hamper private sector AI innovation. Through this Request for Information (RFI), OSTP and NITRD NCO seek input from the public, including from academia, industry groups, private sector organizations, state, local, and tribal governments, and any other interested parties, on priority actions that should be included in the Plan.”
Each individual or institution is requested to submit only one response.
Submissions must not exceed 15 pages in 12 point or larger font, with a page number provided on each page.
