Apple Intelligence is Apple, jacked. "A tool of a new kind, of an interactive kind..."

You can get mad, even BigMad, or eMad -- or anyone else. Yet the fact remains that

Apple has cracked a code into a whole new world of possibility. AI leveled up by Apple today.

Why?

Apple is the first company to widely apply AI locally in a data-individuated setting with the a system which is both standardized, and personalized.

What I believe to be the most ideal experience with AI:

+ Combining native data and documents with
+ authoritative sources to provide

=YOUR OWN universal data tool which literally speaks to and from each user and their experience, specifically.

Personal AI. Your data talks to you and you to your data.

Any one can access an LLM. Yet this is mostly a one-sided transaction -- a jukebox in which we call and receive a tune.

And the data is wide, broad, and not yours - its wholesale. And mostly you don't get to choose it.

It is a far different thing indeed for our AI to speak to us from/with/including our own datasets, and with sources YOU CHOOSE.

The experience will be what AI was intended to be.

Imagine Socrates or Aristotle commenting on your data/document/writing/opinion...even an email! Directly to the source material. "Without an intermediary"

And BIG.

150M users will each see a window into AI data magic and its effectiveness and be able to manipulate, innovate, study, and hack AI on their own.

How many new concepts (businesses even) will be created through this 'thought ware'? How many new solutions? Will we capture the thought of 'the next Aristotle' in real time?

Person-powered AI. AI of one, for diverse hundreds of millions.

Yes security concerns are not unreal and must be considered and dealt with. Yet this is always a risk with any data tool. It may be up to users and media to expose/push/demand/innovate in this area.

(Maybe someone enterprising can develop an intermediary security layer?)

And it remains to be seen how configurable Apple Intelligence will be (well known for their locked os). The more the better. The less, the less effective.

Yet, today, Apple debuted 'the shovel' in a gold rush.

People will eagerly use it and much will be uncovered and it is a boon and a positive new phase/generation of AI which will lead to many others.
