*** Tomorrow, June 12, OAI attorneys were to present their Motion to Dismiss (which must have been a banger).
We wrote about this previously here; the Feb 29 lawsuit by Elon Musk (personally). As a founder, former funder, Elon had disagreed with OAI’s direction and in the suit presented a “parade of horribles” about captive AGI ending the world.
OAI had previously called Elon and his claims “incoherent.”

Today June 11 after 100 days, Elon Musk has dropped the suit per CNBC.
People are wondering, “WHY?”
Did this have anything to do w Elon’s sharp rebuke against (now OAI backed Apple, to ban their phones at his companies?)
It matters as OAI alignment with Apple is a major and some would think un-expected coup. X-AI is also a thing pending of its own with dreams hopes and plans.
Developing….surely will have to check the court record…
