[Gateway of India, Mumbai]
Many of you know that I began my career in private equity, working to establish a firm investing in Indian domestic companies.
From there I went on to technology deals on behalf of a Fortune 500 (working mostly with Indian startups and emerging BPO and technology companies).
Reality is there is no more successful two nation partnership in technology in the past 25 years than USA and India.
With AI the imperative for these siblings to combine only becomes stronger. Much of the technology and facilities supporting global AI are in India.
The Dallas Bar Association asked me to write about what my experience investing in India was like beginning in 2004….this was before “the rush” which is still rising and growing product and tech companies and now CEOs and American founders and leading AI techologists…USA/India devs are like siblings now.
